UPDATE: The ride is now Saturday May 2 due to expected rain on May 3. As warmer weather approaches and training camp is around the corner, we’re excited to offer an Intro to Group Rides Clinic + Ride on May 2 at 7:30 AM! Cheryl Wong and I will be leading the ride. We’ll go over how to ride in groups, review hand signals and safety, and then do 1 or 2 loops of the Charlie Baker TT course together at around 13–15 mph. This ride will be no drop. Plan for the morning: - 7:20–7:30 AM – Meet at Concord Visitor Center (58 Main St, Concord, MA 01742) - 7:30–7:45 AM – Group riding safety discussion - 7:45 AM – Roll out! - 9:15–9:45 AM – Finish the ride, with an optional coffee/breakfast stop nearby Here is the Strava route we’ll follow: https://www.strava.com/routes/3482796012389173720 Please RSVP on the website or on Strava if you can make it! Logistics: - Free parking is available at the visitor center - You can also bike to the start - The commuter rail is nearby for anyone returning to the city afterward Rain date: Saturday, May 2, if rain is in the forecast for May 3. And if you’re an experienced rider, you are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to join us as well.

The TARC Wapack and Back Trail Races consist of both the 50 mile and 43 mile ultramarathons and an end to end 21.5 mile trail race on the Wapack Trail. Leading from Mt Watatic in Massachusetts to North Pack Mt in Greenfield, NH, the rocky ledges of this technical trail (approximately 4,600 feet of elevation in each direction, 50 miler is around 10,800 feet of elevation) afford views of the Boston skyline to the east, Berkshire and Green Mountains to the west and White Mountains to the north. It offers boulder fields, rocky ledges, granite slabs, lots of single track with rocks and roots, and a little fire road action.
